My friend Carrie of Educators2Educators.com reviews the Hotter Sandringham tall boot. Thank you to Hotter Shoes for providing this beautiful boot for review. Juggling life as an entrepreneur, wife and mom can be hectic. As I get older, I’m definitely leaning towards fashion that is both high-quality and versatile. I want to look put together with as little effort as possible and these Hotter Sandringham boots do just the trick! The first thing I noticed when I pulled them out of the box was the color (called dark tan) – the two tone brown suede is rich and adds a sense of coziness of the boot. I LOVE the dark brown strap that wraps around the ankle, it adds just enough pop to make this more than just a typical brown boot. I automatically paired the boot with black leggings for contrast and they looked fabulous. My favorite part of the boot is the fit around my calf. I have a skinny lower leg, however I have a pretty muscular calf. The calf circumference (around 16.5″ for size 10 boot) of the Hotter Sandringham fits perfectly thanks to the stretch inserts in the back of the boot. The cleated rubber outsole has a great grip for the icy Chicago sidewalks as well as giving just the right amount of cush. I’m very hard on my shoes, but I can tell that these boots will be a staple in my closet for a long time to come. I’d recommend the Hotter Sandringham for women with medium to wide feet with wider calves. This is not a boot for narrow feet and slim calves. The Hotter Sandringham tall boot runs true to size and is available in four gorgeous shades of suede nubuck, sizes 5-11, regular width (for medium to slightly wide feet) and extra wide width (for wide to extra wide feet) for $119 (currently marked down from $199) from Hotter.com.
